Rockville, MD (April 17, 2023)  - The American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) proudly announces its new Board of Directors for the 2023-2025 term. “ASAM’s ongoing mission is to advance the field of addiction medicine and improve the availability and quality of addiction treatment,” says President Brian Hurley, MD, MBA, FAPA, DFASAM. “I look forward to working with the new ASAM Board of Directors to grow membership diversity, mitigate disparities in health and treatment outcomes, enhance treatment standards, strengthen the connections between clinicians and our patients, and ensure that life-saving treatment is available when patients need it.” 

The newly elected and appointed members* of the ASAM Board of Directors officially began their terms at the conclusion of the ASAM 54th Annual Conference on April 17, 2023, in Washington DC.
