As a partner of the AMA Ed Hub, ASAM offers CME to help health care professionals enhance their professional development and their practice as well as improve clinical care while focusing on the full spectrum of addiction care: prevention, treatment, remission, and recovery.
Providers Clinical Support System – Medications for Alcohol Use Disorder
PCSS-MAUD is a national program funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration to provide free, comprehensive training, guidance, and mentoring on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of alcohol use disorder (AUD). PCSS-MAUD aims to enhance the capacity of healthcare professionals to treat individuals with AUD, including the use of Food and Drug Administration-approved MAUD.
Providers Clinical Support System – Medications for Opioid Use Disorder
PCSS-MOUD is a program funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration and created in response to the opioid overdose epidemic. PCSS-MOUD’s goal is to provide evidence-based practices to improve healthcare and outcomes in the prevention of those at risk and treatment for individuals with an opioid use disorder.
Opioid Response Network
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s State Opioid Response/Tribal Opioid Response Technical Assistance program is led by the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry in collaboration with a large national coalition. This coalition forms the Opioid Response Network to provide free training and education to address opioid, stimulant and all substance use disorders.
