ASAM Seeks Editor-in-Chief for Journal of Addiction Medicine
Published bi-monthly, Journal of Addiction Medicine (JAM) is the official journal of the American Society of Addiction Medicine. JAM promotes excellence in the practice of addiction medicine and clinical research and supports addiction medicine as a mainstream medical specialty. The Editor-in-Chief (EIC) is responsible for the editorial content and strategy, journal operations and staffing and promotion of JAM.
With journal Co-Editors, the EIC ensures content is clinically accurate, timely and targeted to the readership and editorial mission. She/he guides the overall mission and objectives for the publication and develops an editorial agenda based on clinical and scientific trends. This position works closely with the publisher, Co-Editors, Managing Editor, peer-reviewers, and ASAM staff.
