ASAM Applauds Senate Confirmation of Michael P. Botticelli as ONDCP Director
As a former state substance abuse division director, the recent acting director for the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) and a person in long-term recovery from addiction, Mr. Botticelli brings a wealth of both professional and personal experience to this new position. He is committed to reforming America's drug policy so that it promotes prevention, treatment and recovery support while ensuring the ongoing safety of America's diverse communities.
