Our members play an integral role in the advancement of the field of addiction medicine. ASAM’s mission is to be the physician-led professional community for those who prevent, treat, and promote remission and recovery from the disease of addiction, within the medical community and the public. We work with our members to accomplish this mission through advocacy, education, and research. We welcome our members to leave their mark on the addiction medicine community by helping us achieve our mission.
