ASAM Travel & Compensation Policy 

Travel and hotel for all accepted abstract presenters are not covered by ASAM. There has been an important change to ASAM's travel policy for Annual Conference symposia presenters. Non-member symposia presenters, when required will be provided two nights lodging, ground transportation, parking, gratuities and coach airfare. ASAM members will not receive reimbursement for travel or hotel expenses. 

Poster Presentation Guidelines

Poster Presentations offer an opportunity to share research interests and ideas. Presenters are required to prepare physical and electronic posters, set them up and attend their poster during a designated times. ASAM encourages everyone and especially young investigators to submit abstracts for posters. 

Embargo Policy

Content of abstracts, featuring research and late-breaking clinical trails accepted for presentation at the ASAM Annual Conference is embargoed until the morning of the day on which they are presented. Members of the media, investigators, organizations issuing press releases and others with access to research accepted for presentation during the ASAM Annual Conference are required to abide by the embargo policies. Violation of ASAM embargo policies can result in removal of the research from the program, removal of individuals and/or companies from the conference, revocation of media credentials, and/or withdrawal of embargo access for one year for journalists and/or news organizations.
