A Note About the Coronavirus, COVID-19

Due to increasing concerns about the global spread of COVID-19, and in accordance with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), and local health authorities, ASAM and ACOG will be working with local hosts to reschedule or utilize remote platforms for The ASAM Treatment of Opioid Use Disorder Courses being held nationwide through May 16, 2020. At this time, the changes do not include courses taking place after May 16, 2020. Recommendations regarding courses after May 16 will be made at a later date when more information regarding COVID-19 is available.

ASAM and ACOG are fully committed to providing high-quality educational experiences for all course attendees. The safety of staff, members, partners, and those who participate in ASAM and ACOG events are our paramount concern. We want to assure everyone planning to attend these nationwide waiver qualifying courses that we are taking COVID-19 seriously. The situation remains dynamic and we are taking all necessary precautions for the health, safety and security of our course attendees.

ASAM and ACOG are closely monitoring the health and safety updates and recommendations issued by WHO, CDC and state and local health organizations.

We will update this page with any and all changes to our live course listings.
