Host a Course

As a member of the Collaborative for REMS Education (CO*RE), ASAM has been providing opioid resources in a variety of formats since 2013. ASAM has reached over 6,500 learners with the Pain Management and Opioids: Balancing Risks and Benefits Course. The curriculum is newly updated to reflect the latest information in this vital area of healthcare.

How to Host a Pain Management and Opioids Course

ASAM currently has a grant to help support organizations across the nation with hosting this course in a variety of formats. Courses must be held between May 2019 and December 15, 2019. Steps to host a course:

  1. Be prepared to offer a two-hour course free of charge to your learners.
  2. Sign the Letter of Agreement at least 90 days prior to the course date.
  3. Actively market and collaborate with other local organizations.
  4. Reach 75 or more learners.

ASAM will provide the faculty of experts, marketing assistance and other support as needed.
