Today marks the 20 year anniversary of the creation of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration (SAMHSA) through Public Law 102-321. Since its inception in 1992, SAMHSA’s dedication to reducing the impact of substance abuse and mental illness on America’s communities has furthered awareness, treatment and prevention in the field of behavioral health.
