In order for ASAM to meet its educational mission and to ensure compliance with the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) guidelines, the CME Committee conducts an annual survey on needs assessment, practice change and practice gaps in the field of addiction medicine.
In addition, the ACCME is asking ASAM State Chapters to familiarize themselves with the new essentials and guidelines for accreditation guidelines. Click here to read the Updated Accreditation Criteria and ACCME Standards for Commercial Support.
The final report from the 2012 Annual Survey is now available. The ASAM CME committee asks that this information be distributed to all state chapters.
