The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is reminding health care professionals who may be serving as principal investigators for clinical trials of the requirements to register certain clinical trials and report certain results to the ClinicalTrials.gov Data Bank.
The registration and results requirements for certain "applicable clinical trials" is mandated by the FDA Amendments Act of 2007 (FDAAA), Public Law 110-85, section 801.
