The ASAM Review Course is widely recognized as the essential primer for physicians and other health care professionals who are preparing for a career in addiction medicine, as well as for primary care providers who wish to increase their skills in identifying and managing patients whose medical problems are caused or exacerbated by substance use disorders.
The course features a three-day program of outstanding speakers, supported by an extensive print and electronic syllabus. As in the past, we expect an audience of 500 professionals for the 2012 course, which is scheduled for Thursday, September 20 through Saturday, September 22, 2012, at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Conference Center in Nashville, TN.

Interactive Exam Preparation (IEP)
New this year, attendees received access to the Interactive Exam Preparation (IEP). Designed to help prepare for certification/recertification examination in an interactive and engaging format, this internet-based learning tool includes study material and over 350 sample test questions and answers along with the following features:
- allows individuals a more sustained access to the training material for the exam
- allow users to bookmark pages, highlight text, and take notes about key points for future reference as well as mark sections complete so you can focus your study time appropriately
- can be accessed through supported mobile devices and tablets
