The American Society of Addiction Medicine wants to increase the opportunities for residents to learn about the diagnosis and treatment of alcoholism and other drug dependencies. ASAM will be offering a limited number of scholarships for selected physicians-in-training to participate in the Society's annual conference.

Scholarship will include travel, hotel, registration to the Ruth Fox Course, Medical-Scientific Conference, ASAM Awards Luncheon, a $50 per diem for five days, and a three-year membership in ASAM.
Awardees will be invited to attend the Ruth Fox Course for Physicians and the ASAM Welcome Reception and New Member Reception as well as all other events at the convention.
We will arrange for scholarship recipients to meet at the end of each day with the Chair of the Ruth Fox Memorial Endowment Fund, Committee and Board members.
The 2014 Ruth Fox Scholarship application will be available late Summer 2013, please check back soon!
